Missonaries see Christmas an evangelical tool. Counter strategies.

Christians in the United States want to push Christmas onto people whether they want it or not. Christmas is prominent in America because it is tied to gift giving and retail sales. Consumerism is our true God in America. The stores put a lot of effort into decorations and advertising which leads to a lot of televison shows. That is why the Christians are very concerned when retailers become less Christian in their sales approach.
Christian Post, Nov. 28, 2025, "Several major US retailers placed on 'Naughty List' for failure to embrace Christmas this year."
Naughty or nice? That is the question a Christian advocacy group seeks to answer for America's largest retailers, rating how they have embraced or ignored the Christmas season in their online communications.
The Florida-based Christian conservative organization The Liberty Counsel released its "Naughty and Nice List" earlier this month, just over a month before the Christmas holiday celebrating the birth of Jesus.

Christmas is a missionary tool and tool for cultural dominance.
All the major Christian holidays were set strategically on the calendar to replace older non-Christian holidays and originate out of efforts to convert people and keep them.
Christmas replaces Saturnalia in the Roman Empire. Most religions have a holiday around the winter soltice.
Counter Strategies used in the United States.
The campaign to de-Christianize the winter holidays has been successful enough that the Chrstians felt it necessary to have the slogan, "He is the reason for the season."
1. Jewish people have made Hanukkah a big holiday. As articles have explained, Hanukkah has become bigger in response to Christmas. For kids seeing a holiday with candies, cookies, foods, and gifts is a draw. Chinese New Years is good. Consider amping up a holiday near Dec. 25, 2025.
2. Publicize the pagan holidays replaced by Christmas holidays.
3. Publicize pagan origins of Christmas trees, Easter eggs, etc.
There are Christians in the United States that won't celebrate Easter, Christmas, etc. because they consider it pagan. Let people know about that. It puts Christians in conflict with each other.
Provide ways of having the fun and not being Chrstian. I do cards, but they are not religous themed, and they say "Seasons Greetings."
4. Have a fun holiday with candy once a year on a pagan day. In America they have Halloween Trick or Treat. Kids love it since they end up with a bag of candy and get to wear costumes. We have Jack O'Lanterns. Neighbors meet each other.
Christians hate it, and are always trying to find ways to deal with it.
It really damages their image each year when it is in the news that many Christians are criticizing Halloween. It makes them look like religious fanatics and kill joys. Which they are.
5. Paganize or de-Christianize the last couple weeks of December. We have parties. We have New Year's parties. There are winter soltice cards. The Christians stole the holidays, you steal them back.
In general you should realize that the goal of Chrstianity is world domination. NOTHING they do is without the intent to dominate the world.
