 The destruction of competing religions is part of missionary aid programs to farmers. Christians seek out weak spot in a society to exploit to invade societies just like bacteria invade a cut in the skin.   Every social problem that isn't address by a civil body, government, or non-Christian charity is an opportunity for them. The people suffering from drugs are people who are understress, have difficulties in running their lives, and make decisions.
